NAIROBI, Nov 14 (Reuters) - The following company
announcements, scheduled economic indicators, debt and currency
market moves and political events may affect African markets on
Monday.

 GLOBAL MARKETS
 The U.S. dollar hit a nine-month peak in Asia on Monday as
 the risk of faster domestic inflation and wider budget
 deficits sent Treasury yields ever higher, a painful mix for
 assets in many emerging market countries.            
 
 WORLD OIL PRICES
 Oil prices were little changed on Monday near multi-month
 lows, dragged down by worries about oversupply as OPEC saw
 record output last month and as the U.S. rig count rose
 again.

 South Africa's rand and share market fell on Friday as
 concerns weighed about how Donald Trump's presidency might
 impact emerging markets and investors firmed up bets on
 higher U.S. interest rates.       
 
 CONGO GOVERNMENT
 The United Nations Security Council pushed for a peaceful
 transition of power in Congo during a weekend visit aimed at
 averting massive violence when President Joseph Kabila's
 mandate runs out on Dec. 19.             
 
 NIGERIA OIL
 A Nigerian militant group said on Sunday the continued
 presence of the army in the southern Niger Delta energy hub
 has undermined peace talks and prompted attacks on oil and
 gas facilities in the region.              
 
 NIGERIA OIL
 Nigeria outlined a plan to overhaul state oil company NNPC
 and eventually list it on the stock exchange in a bid to
 modernise and streamline an industry known for graft and
 mismanagement.             
 
 CONGO MILITANTS
 The military chief of the former Congolese M23 rebel group
 is in Uganda's capital Kampala and his fighters in the
 western part of the country, Uganda's military said on
 Sunday, contradicting reports he had gone missing.
             
 
 ZAMBIA BUDGET
 Zambia has proposed measures to curb its budget deficit at a
 time when slumping commodity prices have seen the country
 face mine closures, rising unemployment, power shortages and
 soaring food prices.
