One of Nigeria’s richest men Generals Theophilus Danjuma, was flown out of Nigeria last week in an air ambulance.
SaharaReporters is reporting that the retired military officer, who is one of the richest retired generals in Nigeria, has served in various capacities in government and also run an oil company, fell seriously ill and had to be flown out on an air ambulance.
The report said, it was not clear which country the general headed to but added there were strong indications that he was flown to Germany.
His health status could not also be ascertained as his wife, Daisy Danjuma, could not be reached to confirm General Danjuma’s condition.
However, a close friend of Mrs. Danjuma said General Danjuma only had a slight Malaria for which he is receiving treatment in the UAE. The source claimed Danjuma is expected back in Nigeria on Tuesday.
