President Buhari arrives the Kaduna International airport on Friday from London |
Nigeria Air Force 001 conveying President Muhammadu Buhari has landed in Kaduna, Nigeria. The plane touched down at the air force base along Mando road in Kaduna at 7:47am on Friday.
The President was received by the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State Bala Bantex on his arrival. He disembarked from the plane 10 minutes later, and greeted some top government officials before boarding a chopper, which took off immediately.
Others on hand to welcome the president include, Abba Kyari, chief of staff to the president; Agyole Abeh, commissioner of police in the state, were among those who welcomed the president.
Speaking to journalist after the President had departed for Abuja, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State Bala Bantex said the President was hale and hearty and looked betther the his looks in the pictures released London
However, journalists were bared from going close to the president.
