Benue workers to get two months salary, strike called off

The strike embarked upon by Organized Labour in Benue state has been called off.

In the agreement reached with the government, two months salaries would be paid to Benue state workers between Thursday and Friday this week.

According to a communiqué read by the General Secretary of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Dr. Peter Oso’eson before journalist at the banquet hall of Government House Makurdi late on Tuesday, the strike will be called off  Wednesday.
